I have served on the Board of Directors for the past eight years; with the past 5 years acting as President. During this time, I, together with the Store Manager, have negotiated a new contract for the Co-op Gas Bar and introduced Air Miles as an added member feature. As well as negotiating a new Supplier contract for the store and extending the footprint of the store by an additional 3,800 square feet. In the past year, over Two million dollars of renovations were completed in the Store retail space with no increase to the debt. I was a member of 5 Rotary Clubs in five cities and two provinces while maintaining a 100% attendance. I served on the Board in all 5 Clubs and was President of the Ottawa Rotary Club. I served as Chair of the Easter Seal committees in Ottawa and St. Cathrines and served on the Easter Seal Board of Ontario. I have also been involved with multiple community groups over the years, often in a leadership capacity. My career covered 40 years in the Financial Service Industry, the majority of which was with Royal Trust/Royal Bank Financial Group. During my career, I have held of leadership positions including Regional Manager of Lending for Eastern Canada.
