Lloyd Hayden is the current President of the NLFC. He has extensive experience with co-operative business in the Baie Verte area, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors, Chairperson, and Retail Operations Manager of the Baie Verte Consumers Co-op. Lloyd has also served as Chairperson of the Baie Verte Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, as well as Resource Person of CBDC Emerald. He is passionate about the Development of Rural Newfoundland as he worked for 23 years as an Economic Development Officer with the NL Government.
