NLFC's 77th Annual General Meeting & Co-operative Conference

The NLFC is holding our 77th Annual General Meeting & Co-operative Conference in Gander at the Quality Hotel & Suites, June 26th & 27th, 2026.

 

This is the province’s largest co-operative gathering, bringing together leaders, members, partners, and co-op enthusiasts for two days of celebration, collaboration and learning.

Accommodations & Venue

We have a room block with Quality Hotel and Suites under group name “NL Federation of Co-operatives”. Please note that there are limited rooms available with our block, so be sure to book early.

Award Nominations

Nominations are now open for the following 5 awards, which will be presented at our 77th AGM:

  • Tom Best Volunteer of the Year

  • Star Co-operator of the Year

  • Star Youth Co-operator of the Year

  • NL Co-operative of the Year

  • Diversity Champion Award

Nominations will be accepted until June 15th, 2026. Descriptions of each award can be found on the nomination form below.

Board Nominations

Nominations are now open for three (3) openings on the board, all with a three-year term. The Nominating Committee is committed to recruiting candidates to the NLFC Board of Directors that will achieve the broadest representation possible. If you’re interested in submitting a nomination, please download and complete the 2026 Board Candidate Information Kit linked below and email it to [email protected].

Resolutions

Verified members have the right and opportunity to submit resolutions to be brought forth at the AGM. Please complete this form if you have a resolution you would like to present at the AGM in June. Submissions of resolutions are permitted at the AGM, however we encourage members to fill out this form in advance to facilitate presentation of the resolution at the AGM.
