Malobi Elueme: Bio


Malobi Elueme (she/her) is an economist and researcher interested in alternative business and financing models for sustainable community development. She holds a B.A and an M.A in Economics from the University of Alberta and Memorial University of Newfoundland, respectively. Currently, she serves as a Leadership and Governance officer at Rethinking Economics, an international organization of students and economists working to challenge mainstream economics education and ensure a curriculum that is decolonized, diverse, feminist and pluralist in nature. She is interested in the intersections of development, policy-making and economic justice. Previously, she worked as a Consultant in the Public Sector Transformation team at Deloitte and as a Social Finance Researcher at Choices for Youth.
