Robert Dicks has been a volunteer with Reddy Kilowatt Credit Union for 40 years, 20 of them spent as the Board chair until his retirement. He presently serves as the Vice Chair of the Gander Consumers Co-op, a role he has served in for the past 4 years. Retired from his position as Chair of Credit Union Chairs Association of Canada, he spent five years in that role until becoming Director of Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation. Alongside the years of experience in the co-operative sector, Robert has been a volunteer with many organizations such as the Chrons & Colitis Foundation of Canada, NL Amateur Bodybuilding Association, Newfoundland Power Trailblazers, and the Cancer Society.
