Gander Consumers Co-operativeIncorporated in 1947 by a group of Gander citizens, led by Joseph Smallwood, the Gander Co-op was the very first self-service supermarket in the province.
The Gander Co-op also played a role in looking after passengers stranded by the terrorist attacks of September 2001. Today, the Gander Co-op serves over 13,000 members.FIND THEM HERE
